Warm versus cool, soft versus saturated. The preview gives you a directional read on whether a berry lip reads better on your skin than a coral, or whether a smoky eyeliner overwhelms your eye shape. That is real information.
The fear-of-regret loop
Most of the anxiety around PMU is not procedural. It is the gap between what you imagine and what you cannot picture. Closing that gap with a personalized visual takes most of the spiral out of the decision.
Conversation with your artist
Walking in with a saved image of the result you want eliminates the most common cause of mismatched expectations. Your artist can tell you what is achievable on your skin, and you can negotiate from a shared starting point.
What an AI preview cannot tell you
Exact healed pigment color
The healed result depends on your skin's undertone, your artist's pigment line, the technique used, and how your skin heals. The preview shows the look at a point in time. It does not predict how the pigment will settle.
Texture and stroke density
A real microbladed brow has fine hair strokes that catch light. An AI render approximates this but cannot fully simulate the depth and behavior of pigment in skin.
Longevity and fading
How the look will read in year two depends on your sun exposure, your skin type, and your touch-up schedule. The preview is a snapshot, not a forecast.
Artist skill
The single biggest factor in the actual result is the person holding the needle. No preview can substitute for choosing the right artist.
How to use it well
- Upload a clear, natural-light selfie with no existing makeup on the area you want to preview
- Test multiple styles, not just your first instinct
- Sit with the favorite for at least 48 hours before sharing or booking
- Save the image and bring it to your consultation
- Use it as a conversation tool, not a contract — your artist will adjust for your features and skin

A good AI preview is not a guarantee. It is a calm, personalized way to make a decision that women have historically had to make blind. It removes the surprise from the most stressful part of the process and turns an emotional decision into an informed one. That is what it is for.
